Makes – 18-20 medium sized fritters

Ingredients

Soaked tapioca – 2 cups (*Add water in a tapioca just enough to cover it and soak overnight)

Potatoes (medium sized) – 5 (Boil and peel them)

Roasted peanuts powder – 2 tbsp

Green chilies – 3

Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp

Sugar – 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Oil for frying

How to make ‘Sabudana Vade’?

Grind green chilies and salt together to a coarse paste.

Mash the potatoes well.

Add soaked tapioca, roasted peanuts powder, sugar, cumin seeds and green chillies paste.

Mix everything together to form a dough.

Make medium sized ball out of it and pat it evenly from all the sides.

Heat oil in a kadai.

Once oil is heated, deep fry 2-3 patties at a time until nice golden brown.

Take them out on a paper towel.

Serve them hot with coconut or peanuts chutney.
